Y-Mart collects only what's needed to run the marketplace: your account details, the orders you place or fulfil, and the listings you manage. We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
Payment is handled directly by each store via its chosen payment method (PayFast, EFT, or another supported option) — Y-Mart does not store your card or banking details.
Before launch, our "opening soon" page invites businesses to tell us about themselves. If you submit that form, we collect your name, business name (if given), email address, phone number (if given), and what you told us about your business. We use this only to follow up with you before Y-Mart launches and to understand who wants to join, and we don't share it with anyone outside YG Engineering.
This processing is carried out in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us at info@ymart.co.za.
